Does my phone support eSIM?

Most mainstream phones released after 2018 support eSIM — iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, etc. See the compatible devices list. Quick check: Open Settings → Cellular (iPhone) or SIM Manager (Android) and look for an "Add eSIM" option.

Yes. Most eSIM-capable phones support dual-SIM (physical + eSIM). You can keep your home carrier for calls and texts while using Yoho eSIM for data.

How much data do I need?

Every data option on the plan page says what it handles well, so you can match it to how you use your phone: Up to 500MB a day: maps & messages 1GB a day: maps, social & browsing 2GB a day: music & mobile games 3GB a day: short videos & video calls 5GB a day: HD streaming & downloads Not sure? 10GB for a 7-day trip or 1GB a day suits most travelers, and unlimited means you don't have to think about it.

What if my trip length isn't one of the options?

Plans come in set lengths, and which ones are available depends on the destination. Pick the next length up — for an 11-day trip, choose a 15-day plan. Most plans only start counting when you first connect at your destination, so installing early doesn't use up any days.

Why do plans for the same place have different prices?

The same amount of data can run on different networks. They differ in speed (4G or 5G), where your IP appears, and which apps work reliably, so the price differs too. The plan page shows these details for each network and marks the lowest price, so you can choose what matters for your trip.

What's the difference between total and daily data?

Total data plans: One pool you share across the whole trip (e.g. 10GB over 7 days, flexible usage). Daily data plans: A fresh quota each day (e.g. 2GB/day for 7 days). Unused daily data does not roll over. If you'd rather not think about usage, unlimited is usually the easier choice.

What if I run out of data?

On most plans you stay online after the high-speed data is used up, at a lower speed (usually 128 kbps) — enough for messages and maps. Some plans stop instead; each plan says which. If your plan supports top-up, you can add more data in the Yoho Mobile app without installing a new eSIM.

How do I install the eSIM?

Most plans start counting the validity period only when you connect to the local network at your destination for the first time. Installing in advance does not activate it early, so you can install before leaving home.
